Ear screening program details of Serlo Gumba, Jundesi, Solukhumbu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant Mana Shrestha, Volunteer: Mr. Ashok Maharjan, Mrs. Mary Maharjan, Mr. Naresh Shakya, Mrs. Beatriz, Mr. Txaber.

Active participation and support was provided by the Senior lamas and Anis during entire program.

• Total number of Lamas ear screened: 29
• Total number of Lamas with normal finding: 20(68.96%)
• Total number of Lamas with wax: 2(6.89%)
• Total number of Lamas with middle ear problem: 6(20.68%)

• Total number of lamas with hearing loss: 4(13.79%)
