Ear Screening Program of Shree Chheskam Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant Mana Shrestha, Volunteer: Mr. Ashok Maharjan, Mrs. Mary Maharjan, Mr. Naresh Shakya, Mrs. Beatriz, Mr. Txaber.

Active participation and support was provided by the teacher during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 668
• Total number of students with normal finding: 464(69.46%)
• Total number of students with wax: 130(19.46%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 66(9.88%)
