Ear screening program details of Shree Krishna Higher Secondary School

Kharipati, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mana Shrestha, Prity Maharjan & Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 124
• Total number of students with normal findings: 71 (57.25%)
• Total number of students with wax: 42 (33.87%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 8(6.45%)
• SNHL: 2 (1.61%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1(0.80%)
