Ear screening program details of Shree Shanti Vidya Griha Secondary School,

Lainchaur, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal,, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 503
• Total number of students with normal findings: 293 (58.25%)
• Total number of students with wax: 149 (29.62%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 61 (12.13%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 15 (2.98%)
