Ear screening program details of Shree Bheem Secondary School,

Baad Bhanjyang, Chandragiri

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms Lea Savard

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 549
• Total number of students with normal findings: 270 (49.81%)
• Total number of students with wax: 229 (41.71%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 1 (0.18%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 49 (8.92%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 11 (2.00%)
