Ear screening program details of Shree Balambu Secondary School,

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms Lea Savard

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 973
• Total number of students with normal findings: 487 (50.05%)
• Total number of students with wax: 430 (44.19%)
  • Wax with hearing loss: 3
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 56 (5.76%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 13 (1.34%)
