Ear screening program details of Shree Adarsha Secondary School,

Bhadrabas, Kageshwori Manohara, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms Karina Giri

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 554
• Total number of students with normal findings: 267 (49.08%)
• Total number of students with wax: 238 (43.75%)
• Total number of students with external ear probelm: 5 (0.92%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 34 (6.25%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 11 (11.48%)
