Ear screening program details of Shree Bhimsengola Secondary School,

New Baneshwor, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 214
• Total number of students with normal findings: 118 (55.14%)
• Total number of students with wax: 74 (34.58%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 22 (10.28%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 9 (4.20%)
