Ear screening program details of Grace Land Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Mana Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms Irati Lezama, Ms. Bego Ibarretxe.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 377
• Total number of students with normal findings: 184 (48.8%)
• Total number of students with wax: 149 (39.42%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.26%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 41 (10.88%)
• SNHL: 1(0.26%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1(0.26%)
