Ear screening program details of Bal Prakash Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Santosh Kumar, Mana Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Irati Lezama, Ms. Bego Ibarretxe.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 155
• Total number of students with normal findings: 92 (59.35%)
• Total number of students with wax: 55 (35.48%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 7 (4.52%)
• SNHL: 1(0.65%)
