Ear screening program details of Shree Shanti Niketan Secondary School

Panauti-1, Rayale, Kavre

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 226
• Total number of students with normal findings: 115 (50.88%)
• Total number of students with wax: 94 (41.59%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 17 (7.52%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.44%)
