Ear screening program details of Shree Mahalaxmi Secondary School

Nakhipot, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal:Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Mr. Alexis, Ms. Luiba.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 158
• Total number of students with normal findings: 113 (71.52%)
• Total number of students with wax: 30 (18.99%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 15 (9.49%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4(2.53%)
