Ear screening program details of Choti Dada Primary School

Devichour, Lalitpur 

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Binay Bikram Adhikari, Ms. Mana Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi & Mr. Daniel Hovey.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 44
• Total number of students with normal findings: 26 (59.09%)
• Total number of students with wax: 12 (27.27%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (2.27%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 5 (11.36%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (6.81%)
