Ear screening program details of Shree Buddha Secondary School,

Badegaun, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Karina Giri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 448
• Total number of students with normal findings: 233 (52.01%)
• Total number of students with wax: 176 (39.28%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 3 (0.67%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 36 (8.04%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 12 (2.67%)
