Ear screening program details of Shree Phulchoki Secondary School,

Thaiba, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, & Ms. Roshna Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 606
• Total number of students with normal findings: 325 (53.63%)
• Total number of students with wax: 237 (39.11%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 3 (0.49%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 41 (6.76%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (0.49%)
