Ear screening program details of Shree Bajrabarahi Secondary School,

Chapagaun, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 791
• Total number of students with normal findings: 415 (52.45%)
• Total number of students with wax: 321 (40.59%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 4 (0.51%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 51 (6.45%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (0.88%)
