Ear screening program details of Shree Devbani Sanskrit Tatha Sadharan Secondary School,

Tansen, Palpa

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 448
• Total number of students with normal findings: 323 (72.09%)
• Total number of students with wax: 82 (18.30%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 2(0.44%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 41 (9.75%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (2.23%)
