Ear screening program details of Shree Khanigaun Secondary School,

Tansen, Palpa

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 114
• Total number of students with normal findings: 64 (56.14%)
• Total number of students with wax: 38 (33.33%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 12 (10.52%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (3.50%)
