Ear screening program details of Shree Bhushal Danda Secondary School,

Tansen, Palpa

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 457
• Total number of students with normal findings: 303 (66.30%)
• Total number of students with wax: 118 (25.82%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 4(0.87%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 32 (7.002%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (2.18%)
