Ear screening program details of Kalika Primary School,

Tansen, Palpa

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 64
• Total number of students with normal findings: 36 (56.25%)
• Total number of students with wax: 23 (35.93%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 1(1.56%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 4 (6.25%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 2 (3.12%)
