Ear screening program details of Mahendra Primary School,

Tansen, Palpa

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 16
• Total number of students with normal findings: 8 (50%)
• Total number of students with wax: 7 (43.75%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 1 (6.25%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 0
