Ear screening program details of Shree Sharada Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 196
• Total number of students with normal findings: 74 (37.75%)
• Total number of students with wax: 80 (40.82%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.51%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 41 (20.92%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (1.53%)
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 1
