Ear screening program details of Vidyarthi Niketan Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 227
• Total number of students with normal findings: 102 (44.94%)
• Total number of students with wax: 83 (36.56%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.44%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 41 (18.06%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.76%)
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 3
