Ear screening program details of Shree Padma Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 389
• Total number of students with normal findings: 202 (51.93%)
  • Normal with hearing loss: 2
• Total number of students with wax: 122 (31.36%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.51%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 63 (16.20%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.02%)
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 2
