Ear screening program details of Adarsha Azad Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Sulochana Baral

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 386
• Total number of students with normal findings: 228 (59.07%)
• Total number of students with wax: 104 (26.94%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 54 (13.99%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (1.29%)
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 2
