Ear screening program details of Bode Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Sulochana Baral

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 356
• Total number of students with normal findings: 201 (56.47%)
  • Normal with hearing loss: 1
• Total number of students with wax: 106 (29.77%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 49 (13.76%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (1.96%)
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 3
