Ear screening program details of Shree Balpremi Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Anjani Kumari Gupta & Mr. Sulav Maharjan

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 327
• Total number of students with normal findings: 184 (56.27%)
  • Normal with hearing loss: 1
• Total number of students with wax: 94 (28.75%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.61%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 47 (14.37%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (2.44%)
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 6
