Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta
Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.
- Total number of students ear screened: 176
- Total number of students with normal findings: 88 (50%)
- Normal with hearing loss: 1
- Total number of students with wax: 68 (38.64%)
- Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.56%)
- Total number of students with middle ear problem: 19(10.80%)
- Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (1.70%)
- Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 3
