Ear screening program details of Shree Ratnarajya Secondary School,

Ramkot, Nagarjun, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 490
• Total number of students with normal findings: 228 (46.53%) 
  • Normal with hearing loss: 2
• Total number of students with wax: 210 (42.86%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 5 (1.02%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 47 (9.59%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (1.22%)
