Ear screening program details of Gram Sewa Secondary School,

Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani kumari Gupta

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 530
• Total number of students with normal findings: 257 (48.49%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 205 (38.68%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (0.38%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 66 (12.45%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (1.51%)
