Ear screening program details of Shree Bal Rastriya Basic School,

Kageshwori, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 159
• Total number of students with normal findings: 75 (47.17%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 70 (44.03%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 1 (0.63%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 13 (8.17%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 2 (1.25%)
