Ear screening program details of Shree Bal Bikash Secondary School,

Mulpani, Kageshwori, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 101
• Total number of students with normal findings: 40 (39.60%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 31 (30.70%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 30 (29.70%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (4.95%)
