Ear screening program details of Nagarjun Secondary School,

Goldhunga, Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 325
• Total number of students with normal findings: 150 (46.15%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 127 (39.08%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (0.62%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 46 (14.15%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (2.46%)
