Ear screening program details of Shree Purano Guheshwori Secondary School,

Phoolbari, Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Roshna Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 418
• Total number of students with normal findings: 176 (42.11%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 143 (34.21%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 3 (0.72%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 96 (22.96%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (1.91%)
