Ear screening program details of Shree Kalikasharan Secondary School,

Teenpipale, Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Mr. Sulav Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 264
• Total number of students with normal findings: 119 (45.07%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 102 (38.64%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (0.76%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 41 (15.53%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (2.65%)
