Ear screening program details of Nagarjun Thulagaun Secondary School,

Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 221
• Total number of students with normal findings: 85 (38.46%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 95 (42.99%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 6 (2.71%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 35 (15.84%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (1.36%)
