Ear screening program details of Shree Bhakta Vidhyashram Secondary School,

Raktakali, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 150
• Total number of students with normal findings: 49 (32.67%) 
• Total number of students with wax: 75 (50%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 26 (17.33%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (2.67%)
