Ear screening program details of Vaishnabi Secondary School

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan,  Ms. Elena Maharjan & Ms. Rosy Bajracharya. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 145
• Total number of students with normal findings: 84 (57.93%)
• Total number of students with wax: 51 (35.17%)
• Impacted wax with hearing loss: 1(0.68%) 
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 8 (%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (2.75%)
