Ear screening program details of Bhag Bhairab Secondary School

Kirtipur, Kathmandu

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi & Ms. Elina   Maharjan. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 96
• Total number of students with normal findings: 50 (52.08%)
• Total number of students with wax: 43 (44.79%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 3 (3.12%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (3.12%)
