Ear screening program details of Shree Bishwo Rastriya Secondary School

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya & Ms. Irune. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 146
• Total number of students with normal findings: 89 (60.9%)
• Total number of students with wax: 34 (23.2%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.6%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 20 (13.6%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss (no complain): 2 (1.3%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (3.80%)
