Ear screening program details of Shree Adinath Secondary School

Chovar, Kirtipur

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Belu Kayastha, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi & Ms. Rosy   Bajracharya. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 200
• Total number of students with normal findings: 126 (63%)
• Total number of students with wax: 61 (30.5%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 13 (6.5%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (2%)
