Ear screening program details of Panchakanya Secondary School

Chhauni, Kathmandu

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Namita Shrestha, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi & Ms. Elina Maharjan. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 133
• Total number of students with normal findings: 94 (70.67%)
• Total number of students with wax: 30 (22.55%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 9 (6.76%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (5.26%)
