Ear screening program details of Shree Janasewa Secondary School

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Belu Kayastha, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Prity Maharjan & Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi.

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 823
• Total number of students with normal findings: 525 (63.79%)
• Total number of students with wax: 259 (31.47%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 5 (0.6%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 27 (3.28%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 19 (2.3%)
