Ear screening program details of Paropakar Secondary School

Bhimsensthan, Kirtipur

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr.Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Prity Maharjan & Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi.

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 190
• Total number of students with normal findings: 125 (65.78%)
• Total number of students with wax: 56 (29.47%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (1.052%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 7 (3.68%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (5.26%)
