Ear screening program details of Narayan Jana Secondary School

Chandragiri, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr.Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Prity Maharjan & Ms. Elina  Maharjan.

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 214
• Total number of students with normal findings: 146 (68.22%)
• Total number of students with wax: 63 (29.43%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem:0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 5 (2.33%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (2.80%)
