Ear screening program details of Mangaladevi Secondary  School,

Gaushala, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Elina Maharjan

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 125
• Total number of students with normal findings: 74 (59.2%)
• Total number of students with wax: 51(40.8%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 5 (4%)
• SNHL: 0
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (4%)
