Ear screening program details of Himalaya Secondary  School,

Newroad, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi & Ms. Elina Maharjan

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 166
• Total number of students with normal findings: 92 (55.42%)
• Total number of students with wax: 70(42.16%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.06%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 3 (1.80%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (3.61%)
