Ear screening program details of Ranidevi Basic School,

Ranibari, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Rashmi Maharjan, Ms Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 154
• Total number of students with normal findings: 106 (68.83%)
• Total number of students with wax: 39(25.32%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 9 (5.84%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (3.24%)
