Ear screening program details of Nepal Rastriya Basic School,

Dhalko, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rashmi Maharjan, Ms. Kareena Giri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 140
• Total number of students with normal findings: 78 (55.71%)
• Total number of students with wax: 58 (41.42%)
• Total numner of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 4 (2.85%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 2 (1.42%)
