Ear screening program details of Shree Ananda Bhairab Secondary School,

Kageshwori, Mulpani,  Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 678
• Total number of students with normal findings: 392 (57.82%)
• Total number of students with wax: 248 (36.58%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (0.29%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 36 (5.31%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 12 (1.77%)
